Notable programs/activations have included Tangerine’s Community Gym and UNITY Festival activations, Canada Bread’s Global Energy Race, Intact Insurance Raise the Roof event and Scotiabank activations including the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, NHL Centennial Classic, NHL Winter Classic, NHL Faceoff events, NHL All Star Games, Rogers Hometown Hockey, Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada and Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest.  



    • Assist the Live team for a term of seven months during the fifth national tour of Rogers Hometown Hockey. Qualified candidates will assist the Project Management Team across a multi-city tour, travelling coast-to-coast within Canada. The tour will stop each week in a different city and host a fan festival experience. The festival will include a live broadcast with Rogers personalities and various partner activations. In this role, the candidate will ensure flawless execution of our partner activation and provide additional planning support to the Hometown Hockey Manager throughout the duration of the program as needed.


    • Executing brand activations including setup, execution, tear down & transportation of event materials to and from each market
    • Assist Hometown Hockey Road Manager with on-site activations, ensuring all components are setup, tested and functional for consumer engagement prior to and during all event activations
    • Work closely with activation staff (brand ambassadors, etc.) to ensure quality control of on-site activations and ensure all staff roles are fulfilled and that key brand messaging is communicated to event attendees
    • Work closely with the Hometown Hockey Manager in the tracking and documentation of project inventory throughout duration of activation tour; including activation equipment, collateral, prizing, giveaways, etc.



    • Business degree and/or sport management degree/certificate is preferred
    • Sports Sponsorship, Marketing Agency or Promotional Marketing Experience is an asset
    • Brand Ambassador work is considered an asset
    • Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram is considered an asset
    • Experience in planning or execution of events is considered an asset
    • Knowledge of audio visual and technical equipment is considered an asset


    • Assist with executing additional tier 1 events and activations
    • Must possess valid G driver’s license
    • Comfortable driving long distances and able to share driving responsibilities with other members of activation team
    • Ability to lift 50lbs +
    • Bilingualism is considered an asset
