    The Earned Media Analyst plays integral role in execution of the Earned Media channel team; outlining effective strategy and techniques for client accounts, as well as implementing the search engine optimization discipline, in addition to presenting recommendations and strategy to clients, especially for content marketing.

    This role involves working very closely with the Digital Strategists to provide onsite expertise and strategy input.


    • Create technical, mobile and local audits for the client’s website
    • Create and lead in-depth Keyword research and content gaps for all client activities
    • Determine strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for a client’s website, especially the possible impacts related to Google’s latest algorithm updates
    • Help clients earn links and visibility on premium publisher and influencer websites
    • Ensure that the quality of the links acquired is appropriate for the current project and client’s needs
    • Help define support materials for content promotion: whitepapers, infographics, videos, etc.
    • Perform keyword research (in Rand Fishkin’s epic style)
    • Analyze the performance of clients’ properties and produce reports using monitoring and analytics tools
    • Measure and understand the effectiveness of marketing production against project KPIs, and offer solutions and ideas to improve upon them
    • Question inbound tasks strategically and suggest tasks and alternatives when appropriate.


    • 2 years of experience in SEO
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • French/English; bilingual at least in written
    • Working understanding of PPC, Display Media, Affiliates, Feeds, Mobile, Social and Attribution
    • Deep knowledge on advanced SEO theory and applied techniques (web ranking, link analysis, data analytics, ranking factors, SEO hack), especially on onsite optimization
    • Programming knowledge, especially HTML, PHP, Javascript. Scripting competencies an asset
    • Knowledge on CMS platforms (especially Wordpress) is an asset
    • Knowledge of specific SEO tools, analytics and reporting platforms such as Brightedge, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster tools, Screaming Frog
    • Personal blog is an asset
    • Self-driven, thrives in an autonomous and result-based environment
    • Ability to effectively communicate ideas, tactics and results in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
    • Analytical skills and ability to synthesize
