    We’re seeking a Research Analyst to join the Strategic planning team of business and brand strategists, and truth seekers in producing strategically led creative. DentsuBos is a full-service marketing and advertising agency with offices in Toronto and Montreal Canada. Our clients span automotive, CPG, retail, financial services, alcohol beverages, travel, and non-profit.

     

    The Research Analyst will work closely with the Strategic Planning team to help support strategic initiatives and on-going projects. The candidate will perform market research analytics to generate strategic and actionable insights and enable data and insight driven business decisions. This includes tasks associated with internal processes working in a multidisciplinary team, client communications, researching industry, consumer, and market trends, and ensuring impactful narratives in deliverables.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Be the go-to resource on proprietary and secondary research and data analytics tools
    • Compile, analyze, interpret quantitative and qualitative data
    • Prepare market research reports, transform observations into insights
    • Analyze research surveys/reports from external resources and write concise summaries
    • Identify key trends in Canada, client industries, consumer groups, macro factors
    • Administrative responsibilities as it relates to Research & Insight deliverables
    • Support the strategic planning team with day-to-day requests
    • Proactively find news, inspiration related to the industry and clients
    • Produce sound, logical, fact-based deliverables

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree or above in Business, Marketing, Consumer Research or related field
    • Experience in consumer research, qualitative and quantitative research methodology
    • Ability and willingness to work in a very fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication skills, with a very high attention to detail
    • Approachable and solution-oriented when presented with problems/issues by staff and team
    • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Experience with SPSS, other data analytics tools an asset
