Dentsu Aegis Network is searching for an Intermediate Tax & Treasury Accountant in our Toronto office to assist the Treasury and Tax Manager in the preparation of tax filings. You will work closely with the manager in the day to day operations including credit risk analysis, banking operations and tax reporting, including transitioning to best practices for corporate and sales tax. Assist with other special reporting as required such as budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of performance against budgets. 




  • Assist with the preparation of internal FS/GIFI from a trial balance for corporate income/HST reporting with the assistance of business unit accountants
  • Prepare supported T2 Corporate Income tax filing and complete the necessary forms (GIFI, SCH 1, SCH 2 SCH 5, SCH 8, SCH 10 (transition) T106, T1134 among others)
  • Prepare intercompany transfers and review proposed transfers from business units for manager approval.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting foreign exchange and understanding net monetary positions to quantify risk
  • Ensure that all transactions prepared have appropriate support and are easily referenced for audit trail purposes
  • Knowledge of GST/HST, PST and QST basic rules of recording and reporting



  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline 
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with banking platforms (Scotia Connect) and tax software (CCH Tax Prep) is an asset
  • Familiarity with the concepts in credit insurance is an asset
  • Understanding of accounting software used in industry (EAS by Harris) is an asset
  • Ability to design/understand financial models is an asset
  • Knowledge of GST/HST, PST and QST basic rules of recording and reporting
