The candidate we’re seeking has strong digital agency or social technology company experience. You have extensive knowledge of social platforms, how people interact with them and strong opinions on how social media can work together with digital media to create best-in-class experiences that drive greater customer engagement. Your success and experience helping creative teams take a consumer-minded approach to social engagement programs will set you apart from the field.


  • Develop social media plans, including content strategies and campaign blueprints, with an emphasis on setting strategic goals, developing metrics, defining audiences and identifying key tactical frameworks.
  • Deliver clear direction and inspiration to clients and creative & technical teams in developing novel, sustainable and engaging concepts and implementation plans
  • Work with the insights team and community managers to analyze current-state social media channels and determine areas of improvement, expansion and refinement.
  • Work with analysts to make sure reports cover all desired metrics of use and note for efficacy and strategy planning.
  • Contribute to expanding the Brand’s overall approach in digital
  • Stay current on social media and digital/interactive marketing trends and provide guidance to clients and agency staffers on how to incorporate them
  • Work closely with creative team, paid performance team, community managers and account teams to ensure success of social media and digital programs and initiatives
  • Prepare detailed documents, including comprehensive strategic plans, audits, promotional plans and well-researched POVs (e.g. strategic recommendations and opinions).
  • Lead team of community managers as they develop content on various platforms for all clients.


  • 3 years’ experience as social/digital strategist in a digital agency or social technology company
  • Strong knowledge of platform capabilities
  • Passion for digital marketing
  • Strategic and deeply consumer and data-minded approach to social media


  • Ability to lead the identification of category business needs, industry and consumer drivers, trends and competitive dynamics
  • Deeply digitally and socially-savvy with an insatiable passion for the latest news, events, products and trends pertaining to the web and online marketing
  • A team player
  • A motivation to keep learning and thinking critically – taking the initiative to develop your own ideas, pave your own path and discover things on your own.
  • Strong writing skills – creative, business and technical, with the ability to be extensive and thorough as well as concise and captivating.
  • A drive to continually push clients towards innovative use of web and social media tools.
  • Extreme self-starter
